Greetings to All our colleagues,
Friends of Uni Papua
Recently our nation has opened the door to accept about 13.000 refugees from Rohingya (Myanmar), they live in several locations of temporary shelters in Aceh and there are around 3.153 refugees located not too far from Uni Papua Banda Aceh Branch (5 hour-riding car). They are our brothers and sisters who are blown and tossed by the wave and fierce ocean for months. Little children face traumatic and need to recovery their souls accordingly. Indeed, many groups, organizations and individuals have moved to help our brothers and sisters, but there will be many small things we can do together in action/deed more than sympathy and concerned.
I as Founder and Executive of Perkumpulan Uni Papua/Uni Papua FC with 23 branches in Indonesia would like to initiate and invite my friends to involve in care movement to our brothers and sisters of Rohingya refugees, with the movement: Football for Rohingya Refugees, through football we support human being movement and through football we also want to find joy and playful world.
The program will be set corresponds to the funds raised:
1. To send the balls
2. To send the coach team to perform social football acitivites together with kids of refugees
3. To give equipment and tools for playing football
4. To establish simply football field in refugees location
5. To give advice and mental education during the program
This care movement period will begin by June, the time of fasting/ramadhan, and will be ended when they celebrate Idul Fitri (July 2015), further on this program will be followed up by Uni Papua-Banda Aceh Branch.
We will involve public accountant office to audit and to report financial matter to all of you who fully support this program.
Within days ahead Uni Papua will complete it this plan, which is far from expectation, however this spontaneous idea comes up based on our human heart to the people who are now in afflicted situation, without force and hiding agenda from any parties but only care and humans sake to Rohingya refugees who need to be helped as human brethren.
